I’m pretty addicted to Instagram! I spend most nights swooning over the amazing interiors and deadly DIY snaps. I follow lots of UK and US instagrammers but genuinely the Irish Interior Instagram accounts out there are killing it!
Here’s my favourite Irish Instagrammers, (Dermot O’Leary’s voice) in no particular order: 😉
I’ve been following MintMag.ie for quite some time and it’s amazing to see Louise’s journey. Louise has landed herself an internship with one of Ireland’s leading interior architecture firms, Kingston & Lafferty. On Mint Mag’s Instagram stories Louise shows her design work, some serious brunching and her trips over the West, documenting her house construction.
Zita has my dream home! It’s cool, quirky and intriguing. You know all of those times you thought ‘this’ wouldn’t go with ‘that’? Well Zita put them together and created interior magic! Seasonal Beast has created a quirky home, on a budget we could all manage. That’s my kind of gal!
Hilda is one of the most passionate people I know, when it comes to design. Hilda is currently studying interior design. She shares images that inspire her, her day-to-day life and home updates. Hilda By Design‘s instagram account will appeal to everyone with a passion for all things design.
Judy shares snaps of her beautiful, chic and cosy home. French Grey Lifestyle also has an e-store. Judy posts photos of new products and shows how she styles them around her own home. As the name suggests this a beautiful Instagram account for lovers of grey. Plus there’s Hugo the cat, who is always keeping on eye on things!
Diana Valentine’s online interior shop has the most beautiful Scandinavian and Boho treasures. Home Lust’s product shots are so inspiring. There’s also an awesome blog on Home Lust. Diana and some guest bloggers (Ahem! 😉 ) give great advice on interior design and styling. Both Home Lust and Diana herself have received well deserved awards for blogging.
The House That Will was created by Norma, when she and husband took on the task of renovating their house in Galway. While Norma documents the journey on Instagram, I love her eclectic style and practical solutions to everyday problems, around the home. The House That Will also shows some really creative and cool DIY projects, that you’d be confident to try yourself.
Sinéad Smith is a self confessed design addict. The Design Bug is a place where Sinéad shares all the things that inspire her. The Design Bug’s Instagram shows attractive and inspiring mood boards, mainly focusing on colour combinations.
Moya’s Instagram Designology is full of light, bright and dreamy images. Designology shares snaps of beautiful contemporary interiors and inventive, healthy recipes. Expect florals and femininity.
Chapter.ie is a graphic and interior design studio in Cork. This is one of my favourite Instagram accounts! Deirdre posts photos of projects, what’s happening in the studio and snippets of daily life. She also shows the odd photo of her adorable husky.
Jenna has moved into a mobile home and has transformed the space, into a bright, comfortable home. Over on homeware huntress she shows the process of making the mobile a homely space and her favourite picks from the latest trends, within a budget we can all afford. I can’t wait until Jenna starts on the self-build!
It was genuinely tough to show you just 10 Irish Interior Instagram accounts! I might add another post in a few weeks, with even more amazing Irish intsagrammers.
Come say hello on instagram @reesdesign 🙂
*Warning* This may or my not lead to a demolition day in your living room! 😉
