Heidi Klum’s little piece of Heaven

The beautiful Heidi Klum has put her family home in LA on the market. Heidi, with her then husband Seal bought the Italian style villa in 2010 for $14.2 million.

After buying the villa Heidi says she spent 6 months renovating and updating the home. My guess is she wasn’t decked out in her painting gear, with roller in hand smothered in emulsion! However the home improvements have now led to the asking price of $25 million.

The 8 bedroom, 10 bathroom mansion sits on an 8.5 acre site, with superb views of the Pacific Ocean. Heidi has said “Sometimes I sit in the garden, drinking my coffee, looking at the Pacific, and really feel it is a little piece of Heaven”.

The house has everything a family needs for the most amazing holiday, nevermind day-to-day living! It boasts a media room, workout/yoga room and a wine vault with a tasting room.

So as if all that wasn’t enough the outdoor space includes a putting green, driving range, infinity edge swimming pool, spa, kid’s playhouse and slide!

Moving back inside the magnificent home, it features amazing elements of Europe. Beautiful ebonized bookcases taken from Napoleon’s country retreat adorn the walls of one of the lounges.

The ornate wood panelling in the dining room is from a private dining room in a hotel in Paris.

I think it’s time we all start pooling our pocket money together and head for LA! 😉
